As insurers seek to modernise operations and build more resilient finance functions, partnerships that combine deep industry knowledge with technical expertise are becoming essential. A new collaboration between Phinsys and Sollers Consulting brings together two specialist firms focused on helping insurers navigate that transformation.

Phinsys, known for its finance automation and reporting platform tailored specifically for the insurance sector, has long helped insurers improve the speed, accuracy, and control of their financial close and compliance processes. Its technology integrates seamlessly with core actuarial and policy administration systems and general ledger accounting solutions to deliver reconciled, auditable financial data—freeing up teams from manual effort and reducing operational risk.
Sollers, meanwhile, is an international consultancy with a strong reputation for insurance technology delivery. Headquartered in Poland, it supports global and regional insurers across Europe and North America. Sollers has built a large-scale team of insurance-focused professionals with experience implementing major policy administration, claims, and underwriting systems. Increasingly, the firm is applying that same delivery discipline to finance transformation, helping insurers enhance back-office efficiency and modernise their data foundations.

While Sollers traditionally partners with major software vendors in core system implementations, the growing demand from insurers for better financial reporting and integration has opened the door to new types of collaboration. That’s where Phinsys fits in.

"We're seeing increasing appetite from insurers to bring the same level of rigour and automation to finance as they’ve applied to underwriting, claims and policy operations," said Phinsys Chief Commercial Officer, Stuart Conibear. "Our platform delivers that capability. Partnering with Sollers allows us to scale that value through experienced delivery teams who know the insurance landscape inside out."

As part of the partnership, Sollers consultants will be trained in the Phinsys product suite. The two firms will deliver joint projects—offering a blend of software, implementation, and advisory support tailored to insurers’ unique operating environments. This will include engagements with leading insurers already working on finance modernisation programmes, as well as joint go-to-market efforts.

The opportunity is significant. In both the London and international markets, insurers are facing increasing reporting complexity—from regulatory demands to internal pressures for faster, more granular insight. At the same time, many still rely on fragmented systems and manual reconciliation—introducing risk and hampering agility.

"Together, we’re helping insurers move away from spreadsheets and tactical workarounds and towards a more connected, strategic finance function,"

Said Wojciech Korobacz, Head of UK London Market for Sollers.

The partnership is underpinned by strong cultural alignment. Both firms remain independently owned, focused exclusively on insurance, and committed to long-term client success over short-term wins. With footprints in the UK, Poland, the U.S., and the Middle East, both are well positioned to support multinational transformation efforts.

In a market where success depends on speed, accuracy, and control, this collaboration offers insurers a new way to achieve sustainable finance transformation—by combining best-in-class technology with trusted delivery expertise.
